BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Mengova is Professor of Economics at 蜜桃视频. She earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Georgetown University and worked as a consultant on various projects at the World Bank in Washington, D.C. She teaches courses in Research Methods in Economics, International Economics, Economics of the European Union and Foundations of Economics. Her current research explores different factors - innovation, technology, foreign direct investment, energy use and sources, and pollution - that affect investment in and production of renewable energy in various countries and regions around the world. A new line of her research is the impact of renewable energy consumption on income inequality. She has also analyzed the influence of quality of institutions and legal systems in different countries on their international trade patterns, outsourcing, foreign direct investment and location of firms, and on their investment in renewable energy. She has published in journals such as Journal of Applied Business and Economics, Journal of Strategic Innovation and Sustainability, International Journal of Environmental Sustainability, Journal of International Business Research and Practice, Journal of Developing Areas, Journal of Finance and Economics, International Economic Journal, International Trade Journal, Journal of Institutional and Theoretical Economics, Journal of Economic Development, and World Bank Publications.
