Freshman Admissions

Students entering ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ with fewer than 24 college credit hours will begin as freshmen. This first year is more than just an introduction to college; it's the foundation for your academic journey and future success. At ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ, you'll develop critical thinking skills and build confidence as both a student and a member of our campus.

Transfer Admissions

If you're entering ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ with more than 24 college credit hours, you'll join us as a transfer student. Transfer students are a vital part of our community, representing the largest segment of our student body. With our large selection of degree programs, you will discover the best pathway to achieve your goals. As a participant in the Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI), ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ ensures a seamless transfer of general education credits from over 100 participating institutions.

Graduate student

Graduate Admissions

Individuals holding a Bachelor's degree and seeking to advance their studies are encouraged to apply to ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ as graduate students. We recognize your drive for a challenge and are prepared to support your academic pursuits. ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ offers a comprehensive selection of graduate programs designed to position you for success. We are committed to guiding you through every stage of your graduate career.

International Admissions

We invite you to enroll as an international student at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ where you will become part of a vibrant community. As a "non-immigrant" visitor, here temporarily for your education, you can attend classes on campus. You're also able to participate virtually from anywhere in the world. At ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ, you'll find a strong support network of dedicated faculty, staff, and students who will help you thrive as you pursue your degree.

Veteran Admissions

ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ is dedicated to supporting the educational journey of veterans, survivors, dependents, and service members. Recognized as a top Veteran-Friendly School, our military-connected staff guides you through VA Education Benefits and connects you with essential services like financial aid, academic advising, career resources, and campus life. ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ partners with Air Force ROTC, and our staff represents military-connected student interests on regional, statewide and national associations and boards

Dual Degree Admissions

ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ's Dual Degree Program (DDP) offers community college transfer students a seamless, affordable path to both associate and bachelor's degrees through partnerships with 17 Chicagoland colleges. Current, good-standing students at these partner colleges can enroll in the DDP to access exclusive benefits when they transfer to ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ after graduation.

School of Extended Learning

ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ's School of Extended Learning (SXL) offers workforce training, professional development, English language assistance, youth camps, a testing center, educator mentorship, and the Knowledge Exchange for retirees. Our School of Extended Learning also partners with businesses to identify gaps and provide customized training solutions.
