Ƶ is committed to creating an inclusive, caring, and accessible environment for all students, employees, and guests. Our campus strives to accommodate various disability and equitable access to educational and recreational opportunities.

The  University does not discriminate on the basis of disability in its services, programs, or activities, including in admission or access to or treatment or employment, as required by federal and state law (including Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and regulations thereunder).  Please see Ƶ's full ADA Notice [NEED LINK] for further details.

Report An Accessibility Barrier

Use Ƶ's Accessibility Concerns Notification Form to inform Ƶ of any barriers to accessibility in the University’s programs or activities or of any other accessibility concerns.

    It is the policy of Ƶ comply with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (“ADA”) and applicable all federal and state laws and regulations prohibiting discrimination on the basis of disability. The ADA provides, in part, that qualified individuals with disabilities shall not be excluded from participating in or denied the benefits of any program, service, or activity offered by Ƶ.  The ADA requires that all programs, services, and activities, be readily accessible to and usable by qualified individuals with disabilities.

    Effective Communication: Ƶ will generally, upon request, provide appropriate aids and services leading to effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in Ƶ programs, services, and activities, including reasonable accommodations for students and employees with disabilities.

    Modifications to Policies and Procedures: Ƶ will make all reasonable modifications to policies and programs to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to enjoy all of its programs, services, and activities.  For example, individuals with service animals are welcomed on Ƶ’s campus, even in areas where pets are generally prohibited.

    Ƶ will not place a surcharge on a particular individual with a disability or any group of individuals with disabilities to cover the cost of providing auxiliary aids/services or reasonable accommodations or modifications.  The ADA does not require Ƶ to take any action that would fundamentally alter the nature of its programs or services, or impose an undue financial or administrative burden.

    Any student who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, modification of policies or procedures, or other reasonable accommodation to participate in a program, service, or activity of Ƶshould contact ASSD.  Students are required to register with and, if requested, provide documentation to ASSD in order to receive appropriate reasonable accommodations for any handicap or disability.  Additional information regarding ASSD, available services, and registration can be located on the University’s Access Services for Students with Disabilities (ASSD) webpage.

    Students may direct complaints that a program, service, or activity of Ƶ is not accessible to persons with disabilities to ASSD or submit a complaint through the Student Complaint and Grievance Process (webpage).
