Biography
FACULTY PROFILE DeLawnia Comer-HaGans earned a PhD in Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is an Associate Professor at Ƶ in the Department of Health Administration. Her research interests include health disparities related to diabetes/diabetes complications and breast cancer. She envisions the culmination of her research as being able to create sustainable and manageable community-based interventions, strategies, and services that positively impact health outcomes for vulnerable populations while simultaneously working toward health policies that support opportunities and accessible means to health and health care for these populations.

RESEARCH TRAINING 2012: M. Alfred Haynes Research Training for Social Equity (MAHRTISE) Fellow
