Dual Degree Program Scholarships

Dual Degree Program Scholarships for Community College Students

Dual Degree Program students are encouraged to apply for a DDP scholarship prior to transferring.  The DDP Promise, Honors, and Chicago STAR Scholars Scholarships are two-year, competitive awards that are a one-time opportunity based on a student's transfer term.

  • Current DDP students may apply for a DDP scholarship during their final, graduating term of their associate's degree (i.e. term before anticipated transfer.)
  • The DDP Promise, Honors, and Chicago STAR Scholars scholarships are renewable for up to two years (four semesters, excluding summers.) 
  • Recipients must complete an associate degree prior to transferring, and must attend ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ full-time.

Competitive award created to assist economically disadvantaged students in completing a bachelor's degree at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ. Applicants must be eligible for and receive the Federal Pell Grant and have a 2.75 or higher GPA. The scholarship covers the cost of full-time tuition and fees that are not otherwise covered by the student's nonrefundable aid.

Competitive, merit based award that is open to DDP students who are active members of their community college Honors Program or chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and have a 3.5 or higher GPA. The scholarship covers the cost of full time tuition and fees that are not otherwise covered by the student's non-refundable aid.

Competitive, merit based scholarship that is open to DDP students who received the Chicago STAR Scholarship at the City Colleges of Chicago. The scholarship covers either a two year contract in Prairie Place Residence Hall or a MyOneCard meal plan.

The Dual Degree Program Foundation Scholarship is a $500 award opportunity for current DDP students attending ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ. This ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Foundation award is offered each fall and spring on .
