Welcome to ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ, home of the Jaguars!

New Student (ROAR) Orientation gives incoming freshmen students an opportunity to learn about ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ services, meet classmates, meet with advising, and network with GovStateÌýstaff. All incoming students must attend ROAR Orientation to help transition students in their first year as a college students.

  • What is the Freshmen Orientation experience?

    During New Student Orientation, incoming freshmen students will have the opportunity to learn about the various resources and services ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ offers. Students and their families will have a chance to discover the various opportunities provided at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ including involvement in student organizations, volunteer opportunities, support services, and many other aspects of being a ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ student.Ìý

    Let's Get Ready to R.O.A.R. (Resources, Orientation, Advising, and Registration All new freshmen to ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ are required to attend our R.O.A.R. Freshman Orientation program. R.O.A.R. will focus on giving you all the important information you need to become a ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Jaguar including a focus on resources, orientation, advising, and registration. Students and their families will have a chance to discover the various opportunities provided at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ including involvement in student organizations, volunteer opportunities, support services, and many other aspects of being a ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ student.
